Education regulators in the UAE have clarified that second semester final examinations will not be held for public school pupils. The pupils’ performance in the second term for all grades will be evaluated as per the formative or progressive assessment, authorities said. ALSO READ: In a circular issued to public schools recently, the Emirates Foundation for School Education stated that during the current academic year (2020-21), pupils from Grade 1 to Grade 12 in these institutions and those following the UAE’s Ministry of Education’s (MoE) curriculum would be evaluated according to their progressive assessment.
